This is an update to my ninja boy "Naki" who originally appeared on my professional resume and helped get me hired at my last job, which lasted nearly 15 years! Well, now that I'm looking for my next adventure, I've decided to give Naki a refresh... He's definitely ready to swing into action! He also made it onto my new resume, so let's see if Naki can work some magic for me again this time :)

The new version of Naki was created entirely in Illustrator using mostly primitive shapes... circles/ellipses. This time I wanted to give him an action pose and a splash of color... a tribute to my favorite turtle =P

I did reference the original illustration which I created in Flash many moons ago! I used to work at Macromedia before they were acquired by Adobe-- The only thing that is actually from the original are the eyes... I just love those adorable quirky eyes. I animated him blinking once upon a time but I'll have to dig for that one...
